Why Saved American Had to Exist. A love letter to the nation called to this mission.

Updated: 10 hours ago

Let me first start by saying, I did not choose this. God did.

This was not born from your typical business plan, but from a lifetime of emptiness and then three years of breaking. From fire and fracture and the patient, relentless hands of God putting back together what life had torn apart within my heart. And in the middle of all of it, while I was still being rebuilt from the inside out, He gave me a name and would not let go.

Saved American.

I am Jennifer Fields. This is about the call. A call back to the Heart of God. A call back to the true and pure love of Christ. Back to courage. And back to the heart of a nation that still belongs to Him.

· · ·

In 2022 I prayed a dangerous prayer. "God, don't let me leave this year unchanged by your hand."

I knew there was more. I just didn't know what the answer was going to cost me. And it cost everything.

There were nights in that season so dark that my prayers changed. Nights I asked God for things I am only able to talk about now because He said no and kept rebuilding me anyway. January 1st, 2023, the end of the New Year's service, I broke. Every crack, every wound, everything I had carried my entire life and pushed down and performed through, it all rose to the surface at once like a tide that had been held back too long.

I went home and didn't get out of bed for weeks. My team ran my company during those weeks. I couldn't move. No one fully saw me and nobody fully understood. And yet I was in the middle of running a million-dollar company, building a client's multimillion dollar nonprofit network, carrying vision for everyone around me while quietly drowning inside of it. Demons from my own life and my bloodline came for me during that season, sometimes wearing the most familiar faces I knew.

· · ·

And for years before that moment, I had been quietly poured out. Siphoned by everything and everyone around me. More time. More strategy. More money. More answers. More strength. More of me. People came needing vision and direction and wisdom and rescue, and because I was built to carry hard things and make them look possible, I gave. I gave from places that were already tired, already bruised, and that were still waiting to be healed themselves.

Even some of the ones closest to me, family, prophetic friends, the ones I had loved and believed for and poured into, some of them couldn't see past what I could produce. They still came with their hands out, even in my breaking. They saw the strength but not the fracture. They saw the strategy but not the sorrow. They saw the capacity but not the cost.

They saw the gifts — but not the girl.

And still, in the wreckage of all of it, my Knight in Shining Armor came to my rescue. He was always there but I had never learned to give all my luggage to Him. Until He showed me.

· · ·

What happened next was not clean or sequential. It was all at once, the way God tends to move when He is serious about rebuilding something.

While I was drowning, He was stripping. Removing things I had built my identity around, ideas I thought were mine, people I believed were permanent, systems I had leaned on instead of leaning on Him, old patterns that had kept me functional for years but never fully free. He let it all fall away at the same time, and in the middle of the falling, He was also sending. Slowly and carefully, He began placing people in my path who came not to take but to carry. Who saw me in the fire and refused to let me go under. Who asked nothing of me except that I keep breathing and keep believing.

He dismantled every broken framework I had ever lived inside, every false identity, every performance, every survival mechanism built from a lifetime of not feeling safe enough to simply be, and He rebuilt me from the ground up. Three years of falling and crying out and running to Him and being fixed by His hand. All of it happening together, the losing and the gaining, the stripping and the restoring, the breaking and the becoming.

Saved by The One. Journeyed by many.

And I am a new woman. A Warrior of Freedom, Protected by a Fortress and Blessed. Made by God. Sent on purpose.

· · ·

Saved American was born from brokenness and truth. From a daughter God kept gathering, piece by piece, until the fire that almost consumed her became the very fire He would use to call others home.

Because here is what He showed me on the other side of all of it. This nation is in the same place I was. Capable of more, carrying too much, doing some of the right things and quietly wondering why none of it is working anymore. We became more divided than healed, more afraid than surrendered, more loyal to sides than to souls. We learned how to defend positions but forgot how to carry one another, and somewhere along the way we traded the power of love for the noise of argument. God is calling us back. Not red. Not blue. Not religious. Not race. Just Backed by God.

· · ·

This is not about pretending America is perfect. It is not about ignoring the pain, the injustice, the grief, or the brokenness that has run through families and communities and churches and generations like a wound that was never fully cleaned. We do not look away from any of that.

But we believe, with everything we have, that God is not done.

Revival does not only happen in pulpits. Sometimes it begins in a mother who refuses to quit, in a son watching faith be lived out loud, in a neighbor who chooses mercy when it would be so much easier not to, in someone who has walked through enough fire to know deep in their bones that love is not soft. Love is power under surrender. Love is the most dangerous force alive when it is fully surrendered to God alone.

· · ·

And there is something else He will not let me be silent about. This land. The ground beneath our feet has a history, and it is not a clean one. There is pain woven into this soil, the grief of generations who were never given what they deserved, injustice that ran long and deep and cannot be spiritualized away. We do not pretend otherwise. We do not skip past it.

But we also hold this to be true, unshakably and without apology. God is sovereign over every inch of it. He knew this land before we named it. He breathed purpose into it before we ever built anything on it. He placed His hand on this nation not because it was perfect but because He is faithful, and faithful things do not abandon what they have called.

We have a responsibility to Him. Not to a flag or a party or a version of America that only serves some of us, but to Him. To steward faithfully what He entrusted. To dedicate this territory back to God one home at a time, one neighborhood at a time, one county and state and region at a time until the whole land hears it.

The land speaks. And what it is crying out for is not more argument. It is intercession. It is repentance. It is the sound of people planting their feet on the ground and declaring from the deepest place inside them — this belongs to You, Lord. We give it back. We walk it out. One day at a time and one prayer at a time until it is done.

· · ·

This is why Saved American exists. Because saved people were never meant to stay saved alone. We are called to build communities across every mountain of this culture, through business and media and education and government and family and arts and the church, people who came out of the fire and went back for someone else. And a territory is not an abstraction. It is your home. Your neighborhood. Your county and your state and your region and ultimately this nation. We take it one prayer at a time, with love and with a reach back for everyone still behind us. And we walk with those alongside us.

So, to every person who found their way here, to this brand and this mission and this moment, I want you to hear me say this directly.

You are not just wearing something. You are carrying something. You are carrying a declaration that your life belongs to God. You are carrying a reminder that you were saved for more than yourself. You are carrying hope for the one who doesn't know how to hope yet, the one who is in the bed you were once in, the one drowning in plain sight while everyone around them assumes they are fine.

This is for the menders and the bridge builders and the rebuilders and the witnesses. This is for the ones who have been through enough to know that healing is holy work. This is for the ones who will go back for someone else. This is for the ones who still believe that this nation can be healed, that families can be restored, that love can be louder than division, and that God can turn a nation completely to Himself one heart at a time.

This is for you.

That is the heartbeat of everything we do. Day by day. Life by life. Heart by heart. Until all are saved.

With love and fire,

Jennifer
